Full or Half Day  Seascape photography tuition.

We use iconic locations around Lands End Cornwall. The exact locations will be confirmed the day before the shoot and based on the weather and tidal conditions.

This 1 to 1 is ideal for beginners or improvers, who want to get to the best locations and get professional tips.

You should ideally have a camera capable of aperture priority or manual.

The focus will be on taking photographs, including dawn or sunset shots if requested. We will work with you at your own pace, keeping it simple and helping you to get more from your photography while improving your own compositional skills.

​This workshop will give you the opportunity to build your own portfolio whilst learning new techniques and gaining confidence in the field. 

Known as an inspirational leader, John our lead tutor has a wealth of experience in coaching, mentoring and developing teams, having worked at a Senior level in the Royal Navy for over 35 years. He loves nothing more than helping people reach their full potential.

What's included?

The following is included while you are on the workshop:

  • A full or half day option

  • Help finding compositions, camera settings for creative design.

  • A sunrise or sunset (weather permitting) with other locations during each day.

  • Use of a Polariser filter, ND filters and ND Grads if required. We have a limited number of spare filters. , please inform us prior to the booking date if loan filters are needed on the day.

 

 

What’s not included?

The following is not included but we are happy to advise you on options, where appropriate:

  •  Travel to the location although we can provide advice on available options if required. If you are staying at a local hotel or arriving into Falmouth via a cruise - I can provide transport.

  • All meals and drinks are up to you. There may be a stop at a café for a break at lunchtime dependent on location. 

  •  Insurances for you and your kit. Please make sure you have some cover before you come, We hold no responsibility for any gear lost or broken while on the workshops.
